Thanks, glad you like it...I put a lot of effort in the samurai guy...sadly my own character(the one with the katars, dressed as assassin) turns out very bad cuz I did him tooo quickly to fit with the deadline...thanks to keep my work in mind as reference...but I suggest you to see also movies with good lighting, that has been really helpful for me(in this one I take a look at movies like hellboy or cradle to the grave to see how the fire affect the lighting on the scene)...and...btw...I look your gallery, and I can tell you as advice....you need to pay more attention to the proportions and anatomy, but you're already in a good way, about coloring one of your pieces...I liked the Alphonse pic, so if you want to...I can color that when I have some free time

Thank you for the comments. My proportions have been a bit off, and hopefully now that I will be attending school I will get back in to the habit of them being a bit more with it. To an extent some of it is desired, because the nature of the anime style is indeed exageration, but I can't claim that it was all on purpose.
I have some new work I'll be scanning in, and it might be a little better looking with your particular style. Whatever you would like to do though feel free to discuss it with me because I think we could come up with some really awesome stuff. My new work is a bit more proportionate but not terribly dynamic, the point of it is more of a "Get an idea for the character" idea more than anything else. I have a lot of backlogged pencil work that I could even still get inked if it makes it easier.
Good advice on the movie thing too, I hadn't though of hellboy for some reason but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense. I mean lookit all the fire! Orange and Blue even. I haven't seen cradle to the grave I don't think but I think I should check it out if just for the various lightning dynamics.
