Cell shading is just like using solid colors, without smoothing them out or anything like that.
Most of my art you see now is cell shading, and if you surf DA for "Cell shading tutorials", I'm sure you'll find some good ones <3

Uh, one of the brushes in 7.0 is grass, and if you click and hold the floodfill tool you should get something called a gradient. I did the clouds and the star brushes myself X3
