Description
His real name is Jamieson Yoru Sparrow. His alias is "Dark Spectrum".I used a reference to get his body correct. I am trying to study from muscle magazines. Yes, he is holding his tail in this picture. I couldn't think of a thing to do for the background so I just left it black...
I altered his design again. Before, he had his horns on his forehead. Now they are on the sides of his head. Plus, I could consider him an incubus more specifically than just a vampire and demon hybrid.
Do you remember Devil Kazuya from the Tekken series? I based Jamie's design off of him in some ways, heh heh.

the male body is so difficult its so diffrent then a females body i ve struggled for a long time with masculine males but your muscle magazine reffrencing is a pretty awesome idea its a great way to really see each and every muscle

I agree.D: Yeah, I'm better with muscles now than back in 2009 when I first started using those books for references, but of course I have a long way to go.
Actually, I sometimes worry about pictures of bodybuilders I use for reference with heads that look much larger than their torsoes. I watched shows like Dragonball Z and Ultimate Muscle as a kid so that's why I'm pretty used to seeing muscular people with smaller heads.XD

but art is always moving and changing always seeking improvement because if you don't you will stay in the same place. Recently I reconnected with a friend from middle school and her art literally hasn't changed one bit it really surprised me that so much time could pass with no change.
I think I am simply not used to men, as there is no man in my household. so when I look at the broad shoulders and neck it just feels like the head is so small after that. Though my best friend is visiting me and he is into body building and I ve been looking him over from head to toe and i think it was truely helpful to me.

unfortunately he lives far away and so i don't often get to see him. he brought me to a gym with him and i couldn't help but look at the males muscles and think of how wrongly i'd been placing things >n<;;
