I colored my first drawing of my OC Lucky. As you can see, I draw him inconsistently. His pose is supposed to contain slight perspective if you can see it. I tried very hard with this pose since I didn't have a reference to look at for corrections.I didn't know what else to do with the background.

i really enjoy how you color your characters. how do you do it? is it color-picking with the eyedropper tool?

I use base colors on at least one layer then extra layers set on multiply, screen, overlay, and/or luminosity. I am kinda cheating myself out of a good color education with these shortcuts.XD I use the eyedropper when I don't want to lose track of a good color (and if I forgot to save it on Easy Paint Tool Sai).
