The eye is a symbol of light, the sun and the spirit. In the Bible the eye stands in vigilance, omniscience and

the protective omnipresence of God. The Christian eye, eye of god, shows an eye surrounded by a halo of rays.

In many cultures, such as ancient Egypt, the sun stands for the divine eye. Generally can "see"

always also be understood in terms of spiritual knowledge. The eye is also understood as an organ

that nutrient does not absorb stimuli from the environment but also radiates power itself.
