That looks awesome!
Would you mind if I ask some technique questions? Do you draw in the pencil and then add in the watercolor, or do you use some kind of gray ink before you paint? I'm trying to improve my painting technique, and I liked the look you created here.

Vẽ đẹp qua! Tôi thích vẽ áo màu đen và Fai là trấn tỉnh. Kurogane là thương ta anh.
(Xin lỗi không hiểu, không nói tiếng Việt giỏi. )
[You draw so beautifully! I like how the clothes are colored black and how Fai's so peaceful. Kurogane is loving to him. And I'm sorry if you don't understand, I don't speak Vietnamese well.)

IKR? Dark is so good at painting!~ *stares at it* The characters are Fai (also spelled Faye) and Kurogane from the manga "Tsubasa" by CLAMP if you're curious!

No problem! I highly recommend reading it if you get the chance. It's a long series though, which scares some people away (28 volumes) but it's a VERY good read. (I just so happen to be re-reading it myself, I'm on volume 5 atm)

Yea from my snooping around it seems the anime isn't as good as the manga, so I was gonna read it instead. And it being long doesn't bother me too much. I like long series for the most part :3

The anime was allright-ish. It changed a few too many things from the manga and then payed the price for it later, when the manga brought those story elements back. Since the anime removed those elements in the beginning, it had no way to fix it when it suddenly became relevant again later on in the story - that was it's downfall. I DO highly recommend both the movie and OVA though. Both of them stick to the manga's universe - the movie as a stand-alone story, and the OVA as a way for the animation company to fix their mistakes and tell the story the right way haha.
I'll always prefer the manga though, CLAMP's artwork is simply stunning! (as always)

I didn't know there was a movie.. I love tie-in movies!! :3 it seems a lot of animes that get made before the manga is done cut out the wrong things. I half expect that the authors bring those elements back on purpose because they're mad that their story got butchered. haha
I'm very excited to read this now because it's always nice to hear about it from the perspective of someone who obviously really liked it

Yep, though the movie for Tsubasa was awful short (about 45 minutes or so) since it was bundled with the XXXHolic movie.
That opens up a whole new book haha, since the XXXHolic universe actually ties in with Tsubasa! The two series are connected, and while you don't have to read both of them to understand the story in either of them, it's a lot of fun to see what happens that tie them in to each other. For example, Watanuki is the main character of Holic, and he works in Yuko's shop. All of the characters in Tsubsasa go to Yuko's shop because they need her help. So In Holic, Watanuki sees them, and in Tsubasa, they see Watanuki (albeit briefly)
What's cool about the movie bundle is that the movies tie in to each other too!
Tsubasa is my favorite, but it's really a lot of fun to read both series side by side to see the similarities. I recommend it haha XD
"Liked it?" I LOVED it. (I still do *laughs*)
Tsubasa is fun because CLAMP took all of their characters and put them together for a story. You might see "so and so" from Cardcaptor Sakura, or "this person" from "Magic Knight Rayearth", or even "..." from "Wish" or "X/1999" or any of the many, many, MANY manga they've created over their 25+ year career. and it's a lot of fun to see so many familiar faces in the manga - and yet they have a perfectly logical explaination for why those characters appear and it's so much fun to pick out the different characters

AHHH. That sounds like so much fun!! That means that they're great story tellers too, if they can do tie-ins that actually make sense plus that just means that if I really like Tsubasa, I have more to read after (which is even better because Bleach and Naruto are ending within a year ) I've always heard about CLAMP, but never read/watched anything for whatever reason ^-^; this summer is a good excuse to start. My next day off~ that's what I'll do :3
ohhh, sorryyyyy. LOVED it xD hahaha

It is a great deal of fun, Tsubasa still remains one of my top ten manga.
CLAMP are FANTASTIC Storytellers. They started out as Doujinshi (fan comics) creators, but their stories were so unique that they were quickly picked up by a publishing company. (I say "they" since CLAMP is a team of four women manga creators) Their first published manga was RG Veda, but their first smash hit was Magic Knight Rayearth - which also happened to be the very first manga I ever read and I've been in love with their work ever since. I love CLAMP because their characters are so easy to relate to - even though some of their stories are set in otherworldly places where magic and adventure reign, the characters still feel human. CLAMP has made me cry many, many times with their storytelling. Their most popular series is probably Cardcaptor Sakura (the anime was released in North America under the name Cardcaptors), Chobits, and Tsubasa/XXXHolic. Though they have A LOT of different series. (25+ years is a long time to create manga)
I wish you luck in all your CLAMP endeavors!
You'll probably have an easier time finding their manga online, since the majority of their work is now out of print. (I'm really glad that the publisher, Dark Horse Comics, has started re-releasing a bunch of the out of print stuff, but there's still a lot that's pretty hard to find - even online.)
I have just totally sent you multiple walls of text throughout this conversation, I apologize - I tend to get excited when CLAMP is the topic of discussion XD
On a totally unrelated note:
NARUTO AND BLEACH ARE ENDING? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!
I have been living under a rock as far as those two series are concerned since I'm still so far behind in reading them - I really should try to catch up...
