The Monarch Butterflies is also known as the Danaus plexippus. Monarch Butterfly is a beautiful winged insect that measures about 90 to 100mm from the wingtip to wingtip. The Monarch Butterflies are indigenous to the Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Central and the South America. They live in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, southern Europe and the northwest Africa, although they are not native to these places.

Nice shot! I like the sharpness of the Monarch and the front flowers against the softness of the plant life behind it. The only small thing is that one of the antennae on the Monarchy is in soft focus (on the left) but it is hardly noticeable.
