Description
A drawing of a flying angel, done with a mechanical pencil, eraser, and my fingers for blending.I'm trying to decide whether or not I should attempt a background. I don't want to ruin my angel my smearing it too much. Your thoughts?

I think it looks great! I would not risk doing a background. But I would take a piece of tracing paper and transfer the image onto that and then try doing a background on the tracing paper.
The wings look nice. The hair looks even better!
