Here it is, my fist real serious attempt at digital coloring! I actually did with what I had, and will maybe use the brushing technique more properly another time.But this pic did not come easy, I'm working on it for more than 2 weeks, and hope the result is worth it. Well well well, I expected to submit it for Danger Day's release, but it wasn't still finished...
The outfits and other details are not accurate as I didn't bother conforming with a model, but this is not the point. I just wanted to do some Killjoy stuff adding some parody with the banana thing (note that Party Poison's ray gun is banana yellow). I hope you enjoy it, my dear deviants.

i think you'd better buy tablet or intuos.
then maybe u can draw faster and more detailed description.
i think ur try and techniques are rly good. like background, font and all that sort of things.

thks very much for your comment! But you know I made the drawing on paper in a traditionnal way before scanning it, the color and background only are digital (which is I must say the biggest part of the work)! I couldn't have been able to draw this without a tablet!
I can be my most elaborate digital work but it also took me the most time to do, I didn't count hours spent on making selections and coloring them with shades, because I didn't really use the brush on that one...
I'm glad you like it, I still have a lot of ideas in my head such as a project about Party Poison's "glorious" death in their "Sing" video, but no tablet to color it and not enough time to spend anyway, though the drawing part is already done! Studies first, they say, and they are right.

Oh yeah I have some other drawings already done, more or less linked with MCR (I think they are all MRC related actually^^). I can't help having ideas and drawing, even in class when I have time (only french and english lessons allows it), scientific subjects are too serious to draw while!
So I will submit it one day, it might be in a long time but I don't give it up.
I still have some photographs I want to submit, it's a very different type of work but you'll be able to see it within a while.
As an artist, I think you might enjoy taking pictures, don't you?

Yes I did! filling selections with shades. It took me several weekends working on it, but I'm quite satisfied of the result. I intend to color the next one with the tablet, but I'm still not allowed to get one...
However, let's make clear that I added the color on a drawing that I did on paper, of course! (you really can't draw with a mouse!)

Yeah, drawing with a mouse is almost impossible! I've tried it in the past but it did not go well.
