I just noticed that there's too different ways to spell Grey/Gray. I always spell it Grey.... Maybe it's a region thing, like how here we say Pop and down south they say Soda. Or Color and Colour. Oh well XDI've finally got the hang of using transparency to show shadows and light. Yay art class and graphic design class are finally coming in handy

and yeah, the grey/gray sortof differs from place to place...
sort of like color and colour. Funny spellings everywhere >.> my science teacher brought it up once and said it was because "english" and "americans" spelled some things differently, and since the two languages were always getting mixed together, at some point they just said either spelling will do... (she didn't say it exactly like that, though xD)

lol yeah, America is a Melting Salad Pot (that's what i call it) i mixed the Melting Pot theory (all the different cultures blend, but don't keep individuality) and Salad Bowl (all cultures in one country, but stay separate) theory together. History class is suck in my head

oh that all has to do with layering. First you have to open up the "Layers" window, it's under Windows>Dockable Dialogs. Then you can add new layers using Layers>New Layer, then you can change a layers transparency using the Opacity thing on the Layers toolbar. Hope that helps
