Description
One of several pictures that has been sitting half finished on my computer forever.The final battle outfits for Luke and Asch from my fanfic "Reflections". I had a lot of fun designing them and I wanted to draw a reference-type picture more for myself than anything since every time I doodled something from the Eldrant arc the outifts changed slightly XD
I realize its been disgustingly long since I've updated and I don't have any worthy excuses other than life is hard lol. I just want everyone to know that I have absolutely no intention of abandoning it and I will get it written if its the last thing I do.

XD Thanks. I seem to fail at dressing my own characters somehow though. These designs came about completely randomly one night when I was sketching random scenes from the final arc in attempts to inspire me to write more. I've had such a hard time with that lately -.- Any advice?

well sometimes you just need a break from writing, i think |D sometimes i cant go anymore on a story... so i go work on a different story with a completely different setting and characters to refresh myself. fatigue can play a part for the bigger projects. its what i do for NaNoWriMo time |D use it as escape from my big projects xD

I'm starting to suspect I have the opposite issue in that it's been quite a long time since I've written anything. I'm having such a hard time getting back into it. Though working on something different sounds like a good idea. I might have to give that a shot sometime.

yeah, thats an annoying part about it :/ its SO EASY to get out of habit of writing and drawing and then SO HARD to get back into it Dx i try to do little freewrites whenever i can... just force some little unimportant scene out or something, even if i dont feel like it. it can help.

Yeah - I agree. It shouldn't be so difficult! It should be like riding a bike. Once you learn when you go back it takes a bit and it isn't always smooth but you slip right back into it! I should try writing daily blurbs or something to get my brain back into that mode.

I really like Asch's outfit. Blue seems like an odd chose for Luke to me, but what do I know. xD

Thanks - and it's not just you, I fought with his colours a lot before settling on blue but I agree it doesn't suit him entirely.

I really like the one on the right~ Interesting colours to go along with the red hair and it works. :3 His expression looks pretty nice too.

Thanks! lol - I fought a lot with the colour scheme on the right. I had an easier time with the left one since I'd dressed him in greens before and noticed how well it works with his hair.

YAY!!! REFLECTIONS PICTURE! I really really like how Asch turned out in this picture. His outfit is really attractive and his face came out really nicely. The placement of his eyes and mouth are perfect and nothing really seems to be too over powering in his facial features. Well done.
I'm still not quite sure what's going on with Luke's outfit though, lol. He has half of a jacket build into the tunic? Whatever is going on, it's very creative.
Sooooo....does this mean the next chapter is soon to follow? *hint hint nudge nudge*

Yes - Luke's is supposed to be a half-jacket and I'm not entirely sure why but for some reason in my mind it just fit.
...lol I will take it this means I did not tell you what happened regarding that.

lol - surprisingly between the two Luke's was the easier to design. Asch took awhile to get down and his colour scheme fought with me even more ^^'

I adore Asch's outfit. I can't see him ever willingly dressing in the clothes, but they're beautiful.
