Awesome piece!
Considering you don't have a plane, I think you made the background using terragen (or sth like that)
If you look closely at the picture you can see that the sun must be somewhere behind the middle part (the very dark part) of your render/artistic thingy... (the sun is low, long shadows)
However, if we take a close look we see the lens-flares (PS) coming from the top left of your render thingy... actually from behind the very white part -- which would place the sun very high -- short shadows
Other than that, very, very nice work!

yeah thanks for the info, but the lens flare is going more for a simple piece of composition in the art.
