Well I hope I'm miss informed but there is information posted on every serious biology web site saying that they went extinct, killing all hopes for cloning sablethoot tigers 'cause they are or used to be their only alive relative.

Hope you don't mind me butting in, but: clouded leopards as a whole are not extinct (they're still listed as a Vulnerable species), but they are now regionally extinct in Taiwan.
