Description
I love this one, even if I failed on the cropping... In my defense, I have to say I was quite busy with the manual focus of my lens because of the broken autofocus. But some would say it's not an excuse... ^^'Nevertheless, I hope you'll like the shot.

Great picture. You did a great job of freezing the action, which is apparent when can see so much detail without any motion blur. Doing a good job freezing motion can be more difficult than it sounds. While it's just of matter of choosing your shutter speed, you have to have a feel for your subject and how fast they are moving. Also, the faster the shutter speed, the less light the camera gets, so you have to adjust your aperature or ISO to make up for the difference. I think you did a pretty good job cropping this picture, there is nothing wrong with cropping part your subjects body from the picture if it adds impact, which I believe it does in this case. And speaking of aperature, if you used a smaller f-stop, the background would be even more out of focus and even more focus would be on the tigers. But thats not neccesary, its completely open to artists discretion on how blurry you want the background to be.

I don't think I've ever seen the tigers at my local zoo move an inch. T_T I'd never be able to capture something like this. Great work!

Really captures some personality :3 And honestly I love pictures like this more than I do all those "regal-tiger-sit-on-rock" ones. Animals are funny. They don't sit around, they do things.
The one on the bottom doesn't look like it realizes someone's jumping over it, and it makes me laugh xD Even though it's a bit of anthropomorphism. Just reminds me of a small child looking at something shiny and their friend sneakin' up on 'em.
