*clears throat* I got to hold one during my senior year of high school. Poor thing got into a hall, which had the lights on, flying about screeching its heart out. Eventually, with the help of a couple teachers, we caught it, and I set it free. I adore bats! (or any animal)

Actually my teacher caught it when she bapped it (unharmed) to the ground. I got to let it go. My teacher was all "Get some towels! Don't handle it without something! It may have rabies!" I was just happy to get to hold the little (tired out, confused, and a little urked) but cute bat!

The bat was sleeping in the shutter of the window and dropped when we opened. I took it, put it in a right place to shot and let it fly away after that ^^
