This was originally my entry to 's your favorite scene from Dragon Ball.This was a late submission.
And just like Spider-Man, I just needed that one more extra day to finish this.
This wasn't just a single scene but a mish-mash of several scenes from the Saiyan Arc.
This arc was pretty memorable to us Filipinos because these were the only DBZ episodes we got right after the Kid Goku episodes.
There was also this tonal shift in story telling. Gone were the pervy jokes and light hearted adventures.
The episodes were also aired out of order. Just as soon as we're getting newer episodes, next week's episode would yet again be that of
Raditz kidnapping Gohan. So in the local airing of Dragon Ball, Raditz is a frikk'n immortal being.
The Saiyan Arc also introduced my favoritest character ever, Vegeta.
And the Kamehameha vs Galick Gun showdown was (and STILL is) pretty epic. Still "THE BEST" DBZ battle ever.
They tried to replicate the magic with the Majin Vegeta battle during the Majin Buu Arc but it was kinda meh at best!
