YOU CAN READ SPACESCHOOL HERE: spaceschool.smackjeeves.com/I finally made a reference for the uniforms of the students and teachers in Space School! Woo!
Of course, kids break these rules all the time! By wearing tennis shoes, or no shoes, or wearing weird overcoats, blah blah!
But- the school is pretty lenient in some senses and students only get in trouble if it's REALLY bad but these are still the basic rules to follow!
Soon I hope to make a Master List and guide to all the species in Space School! Yeah!

I would say that usually faculty would discourage against it simply because it makes the tie or bow of the uniform more messy-- but Space School as a system is pretty lax so I don't think anyone would MAKE anyone button up their shirt, especially if they needed it unbuttoned for physical reasons.

If you're referring to the RP, the RP has been on hiatus for a while and is a closed RP.
If you'd like to make a fan character for the comic, feel free to! We have a lot of references for stuff like that!

The RP is a roleplay we had going involving all the characters of Space School back in it's early days.
A lot of the comic is loosely based on the RP, but a lot has been changed! (Most of the jokes remain the same)
But, regardless, the RP hasn't happened for a year or so, and will remain a closed RP for the rest of time~
(And, I'd prefer if nobody RP'd any of the current Space School characters, but fan characters are fine)
