Description
This was my costume for FanExpo 2007 in Toronto, ON this year This was completely handmade, every little detail (including the combadge insignia), total cost of costume about $200. (Had to get the fabric at a specialty store, lycra-stretch).

It's a three-piece outfit, from modified patterns purchased at a local supply store, the shoes were originally black, and fabric was sewn onto them as well. That is my own hair, color and everything, the headband was wrapped/sewn with the same fabric as the outfit, then little jewels were glued on. I didn't bother with dark eye contacts, because my eyes are already deep brown to begin with, so I just used fake eyelashes to embellish them more.

Anyways, the character is Counsellor Deanna Troi of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She isn't my favorite female character from Trek, but since I resemble Marina the most out of all the choices, I opted for her. I did get lots of comments on the likeness

My sister took the picture with a digital camera, so nothing special there. It's just a shame that the costume will only be worn once, since I've opted for a different character next time.
