Beautiful peice! Love the colors. But, some advice, maybe?

You might want to try a softer and thicker leather than that! Try something from Blackbearhaversack.com. They have great leather lace, and its very soft. I can see you got the craft lace from AC Moore or something like that...I have the same thing. LOL
Also, you might want to space things out a little more on the bottom, like, add more beads, such as white bone beads that are smaller than your large ones, you want there to be more focus on a larger area than just the small, especially when its a long necklace.
Lastly, you might want to try and keep your metal ties a little bit neater, or cover them up with crimp beads or something of the sort. Thats really one of the first things you look at, and you want those to look nice when you send them off!

But really, i love the yellowing on the teeth, it really adds a nice worn look to it! It looks very natural. Great job!

I'm in Canada, so... ordering from American sites tends to be more hassle then it's worth. If you know of a Canadian site like that however I'd love a link. The lace came in a grab bag of leather scraps I got from a lady who made purses who was clearing out her extra stuff. No idea where she got it originally. I have bone beads on the way, so I can work with them more. This necklace isn't actually so long. It's tied so it can be worn long or as a choker. The wire wrapping was intentionally a bit rough on this as she requested something that looked very tribal and natural. I was going for a sort of paleolithic look in it. But thanks for the advise.

Oh, Canada! I see! I wish I could send you some, but its a pain in the ass to send stuff to Canada. LOL XD Let me look into it. Maybe I can sell you some. But I will look! You could also try looking for Elk lace, thats very soft. Ah, I see! Well you acheived that look very well.

Yeah, alas getting stuff here is such a pain in the behind. :/ I may just tan my own leather once I get the freezer for dealing with roadkill deer.

Thats a great idea, good luck! I want to tan my own pelts, since I have a few dried ones, but I live..well, in the country, and I dont like the chemicals involved with tanning. It doesent seem..natural. Or, safe. o.o..so I use one step tanning. And soon ill just use a pickle and a few chemicals. Once I get my own place, ill be a little more comfortable with it. And lucky you, getting a freezer for roadkill There are TON over here, since the deer population spikes in late winter, every 5 feet is a dead deer. literally. And now in the summer, its skunk, possum, woodchucks...etc..its a shame. Such a waste. .-.

I love this too. You really should do jewellery more often! The beads you choose always look perfect.
