You know what I JUST realized, 2 frickin' years after submitting this deviation? Do ya?!
I'll tell you then.
I just realized that it's called Dragonrider, but there's no way he could ride that dragon. Not without getting spiked in the groin area. And even if some of the spines hidden behind the wing had been removed to make a place to sit, there'd be no legroom.
No, no...this is all wrong.
Although...
Maybe he is a Dragonrider, that's just not his dragon!
Maybe HIS dragon is missing, abducted by some evil force for nefarious purposes, and the Dragonrider is travelling the lands and speaking to other dragons to try and track down his actual dragon companion!
Yes, that's it. It all makes perfect sense.
