you CAN change the gender of the bases
YOU DO HAVE TO ASK BUT if you have asked more than once, and I say YES then you do NOT have to ask anymore
actually TRY don't take five seconds on it 
do NOT franken doll or repost it as your own
Base edits ARE allowed, but give me credit 
keep in mind that some bases I'm posting are some that I posted on my second account (which will be transfered to this account, and will be deleted on my second account) so don't send me any E-mails that I'm stealing bases because I'm not xD
DO NOT recolor over someone else's base edit, a base is called a BASE for a reason if YOU are the original artist and if you do NOT wish to have your artwork as a base, I will gladly take it down, HOWEVER if you are NOT the original artist and you ask me to take it down, I will politely decline simply because you are NOT the original artist

So, if someone asks and you tell them no, they have no right to use your base?
I'm all for bases, don't take this as me saying bases aren't art...
I just think to ask for permission is stupid.. I mean, you didn't ask the original artist, so why should we ask to use your stolen art? As long as you get credit, why should you care?
I for one will not ask to use your bases.. If you post them, they are free to use.. It's not your art, we shouldn't have to ask. Besides, your bases aren't worth asking to use.. Brutally honest..

well I don't want people to do a shitty job on their edits, I'm not like most base artists who only take /super good/ pixels, I at least let them use it if they are below average in pixelling
I at least give people credit for fucking trying
and is it that hard to ask? I mean sure, I didn't ask the original artist, however some artists are nowhere to be found, or hard to contact, so...yeah
also, at least I fucking try to make a decent base, and your edits aren't the greatest to look at either, neither is your super desu original art, being brutally honest here

I'm not hurt by your comments because art isn't something I excell in or car much about. I like to look at it, and I do base work very rarely, and I do art very rarely. I'm a musician first.. Art means very little to me.
So sure, they're not something to look at at.. But I like them, I think they're cute.. I don't care if they look good, they've got meaning to them.. And that's all I care about.
And no, asking isn't hard in itself, but the fact that you tell us to ask is pointless. I bet there are people who use your bases and don't ask.
I know people have used ~Mizzykins bases and haven't credited or linked them to her.. But she can't do anything about it but find them and still credit and thank them..
What if I used your base and didn't ask? Would you take time to search me out and tell me to take it down because I didn't ask? If you wouldn't, then what's the point in telling us to ask? There is none.
