Steel Flight decks started with CV-41 USS Midway. As for the COLOR, US carrier decks were stained a North Pacific Blue Grey by the start of the war. So the color is a fair representation

That would be true if this was USS Enterprise CVN-65, but this is USS Enterprise CV-6. The easiest way to tell is by the shape/design of the flight deck. CV-6 has the long straight deck which we see here while CVN-65 has the angled flight deck.

Wow! Intriguing take! I always like to see inanimate personifications. Particularly love her "surf board" and the little propellers on her shoes with the rudders as the heels. XD That's so cool!
