a pic i colorized / re-painted this morning with Gimp ! and yes, on mac os X. exp. for the apps for mac os 9 ares uncompatible mac osx , but they're shits like photoshop, illustrator or xpress.to be brief; i just make evolve Rayna into a sort of dragonoid creature, a bit like xenoshi in a previous sketch. i just kept the pose coz' i was too bored to make something more fussed. (ow shit, i should have put Dani Filth and his pals in the background, lol !

omgpleezzno! but im sure ~enigma-dragan will love this one until i finish his pic X) lmao.all crtitiques ares welcomed. its the first time i make this character. ( and fullview is better )

This is awesome. I tried gimp once (I use OS X too), but it was horrible and crashed and lagged, but it was possibly a bad build.

Very good work. The stance of the character and the detail of the skulls really adds to the tone of this piece. The dark theme also enhances it! The face, especially is very well done!

ooh yeah it was a pain to install and make it work on a mac, due to the lag of toshop7 on that machine.
but after a while testing some shoopings, it works rather nice; just like i would do with toshop on my pc

Pas mal du tout ^^ La mise en couleur en vraiment excellente, rien a redire là dessus. Apres je suis d'accord avec ce qu'on fait remarquer certains, les proportions ne sont pas impecs de partout

wah tu sais c'est juste un perso dessiné en vrac comme ca, d'ici a ce que j'aille chercher dans les détails. ..
mais l'idée de repomper dans des newlook pour creer des persos c'est clair que j'le conseille a tout le monde, la ya un gars qui m'a demandé de lui sortir un dessin pour illustrer son site ( inspiré par tolkien avec des fées dans un style médieval fantasy, et j'crois que j'vais chopper une technique comme celle là pour des persos humains ( ou presque )

It's a great design overall, but there's only one thing that's really bothering me about the image. Within the area where the legs connect to the torso- the character has no real hips. The legs look like they were just stuck onto the stomach. If you were to give a pelvis and hips, then the image would speak more of femininity. A few examples of the use of hips can be found here: [link] [link] and especially [link] I really love the tones of this picture, and the use of a limited palette. I hope you take my hips suggestion into consideration.

ohh dear looking up close at the detailing and the rendering is bloody sik! love the sky texture behind the head on the right side looking like chalk pastel on canvas (how you do that?) and yeah the tones and colours mixed into the skin. nice skull on the ground as well :]

I must stress that this is very, very nice. You've done so very much for this picture, that it's quite startling. The texturing you've put over her wings give me the impression of truly being real, the lizard-esque head structure is impressive, to say the least, and her skin looks smooth in a scaly way.
Critiques:
Her ribcage seems to jut out to our right just a bit much. Her breasts look pretty much natural, but I believe you have slightly over-rounded the one to our left; it should probably blend more to show that it is indeed a natural part of her chest. The belly/lower torso to our left is almost stressed to be seperate from her leg, whereas it should be a flowing transition; instead, to give that rounded, sexy belly look, I would keep the lines to our right instead of the left.
Other than that, i have no gripes. Sexcellent. xD

I studied this stuff since I was 14 years old... that makes about ten long years... but I guess one have to when is going to come out an artist. I sure try to do my best!

I am very impressed by the coloring and shapes of this. Especially the shapes on the wings, wich are quite excellent. Great work on the eye too, im just waiting for her to blink.

mmm...well; the result is'nt what i expected: i edited first in CMYK, and macs gammas ares still higher. so the lightings ares totally random.

I have a really low gamma and brightness on my monitor, old one. I use powerstrip though, but it doesnt work very well for me. So i have a bit darker than the usual user.
