they wear gloves so they become infinitely easier to draw. The artists didnt want to waste time designing hands for every character, so they put unisex gloves on everybody's hands. I'm positive this will start a shitty debate though so Im just going to end it by mentioning I can imitate goofy and mickey perfectly
