The player must avoid looking at her to avoid her because if they look at her, they will go into a trance and fall asleep while The Hypnotist kills them afterwards. In a green safe spot, The Hypnotist's hypnotising ability won't have any effect, even if the player looks at her.

Additional info: The Hypnotist hates being called a butterfly and will attempt to harm those who call her that.
