Description
Final part of the self portrait project. I did a sequential piece to A.) prove to myself that I could do it in a week and B.) establish some groundwork for my future (hopefully) career as a comic artist/graphic novelist. I'm particularly hapy with how this one turned out.The keenest of eyes will observe the obvious references to a little known game called League of Legends...my new favorite pass-time

banning characters? they ban characters in ranked matches?

In Ranked, they use what's called the "Draft System" (you can make a practice game with it and see for yourself.) Teams take turns banning two characters apiece, for a total of four character that cannot be used in the proceeding game. After that, everyone chooses their characters, and everyone sees who everyone is being. Kinda like a 5 man fighting game. You know who your opponents are, and also...NO ONE can pick the same person. There are no doubles in a Ranked match; No two Yi's, no two Vlad's, no two TF's, nothing. If I pick Yi, the other team can't use him. Period. It's an interesting game to play, really.

depends on if the characters you use are OP or not. If they are, chances are they'll consistently get banned

the thing about twitch, eve, and teemo is that they can be consistently foiled with an oracle's elixer. 400g and you get the ability to see them (or they're potions/wards) within eyesight range, and all your allies nearby you see them as well. I was playing against a Teemo carrying their team today, and they were winning till i bought an oracle and i could spot and destroy every one of his shrooms as i saw them. Then he'd try to remain stationary and hide, so I'd ult his ass and catch him offguard. We won after 45 minutes.
Commonly banned characters are like Xin Zhao, Garen, Zilean, Twisted Fate...anyone who can generally decide the game single-handedly.

there once was a time when carry's and the newer, OP'd champs were the ones banned everytime....now it's literally always the top 4 best tanks (Rammus, Shen, Malphite, and Amumu is probably the other one you're thinking of...) I'd say Riot needs to figure out how to mitigate that, but I've won so many games featuring one or more of those characters in Normal and still won, so I really can't argue with the methods I guess.

wow, I've played against so many teemos that carry their team, and when I'm teemo I usually do. I should probably focus less on my build and more on strategic things like buying oracles. who do you usually play as?

I used to play pretty heavily as Master Yi and Karthus, although with all the nerfs to everyone else (not to mention the uber buff to Karthus last update), I've decided to try less easy-to-play characters. My current favorites are Warwick and Vladimir, because with them, I don't need to prioritize any lifesteal items.
I actually used to use Teemo alot back when he could go either AP or AD, but now that it's pretty pointless to go anyway BUT AP, I don't play him as often. Maybe if there's a Warwick on the team and I know I can have a free side lane to beef up. It all depends on who I'm playing with.

haha I usually build teemo for attack speed. sometimes AD. Kennen too, except with atk spd an ability power. Cho and WW are my bigger characters. I'm new-ish to them XD

I've played Cho a few times. If I can keep myself from dying, he's nearly unstoppable later on.

yeah, I hate the beginning of games with him. I usually start off/end the game with about 3-5 deaths. most from the beginning. once he's built he's amazing XD
