Description
1 of 2 finals for my first 3 week Illustration project. the sketch for the above can be found in my scrap book alongside the other 20 sketches we had to finish in the first week.My professor told us that he would pick the two he wanted to see taken to a final piece. Upon critiquing the sketches, he asked me if I had any preferences for which two I'd like to do, to which I responded "As long as one's serious and one's funny, it's all good." He picked this one as the funniest of the sketches I'd compiled. Done in Photoshop CS5

Apart from the joke which is pretty amusing, I gotta say I like the drawing. The lineart is nice and sharp and the coloring is also pleasing. Well done

This is pretty funny. I like the look on the damsel's face. "Gee, everybody else gets saved by Superman. I get stuck with this schmuck."

I love the fact that he's got a screwdriver, a rubber chicken, a wrench and a shuttlecock, but nothing actually useful. XD Apparently the "H" stands for Hloser.
Also have to say the coloring is decidedly neat here. You can definite get a sense for different textures in here... All kinds of nice.
