I always get a few anti slash comments here and there every so often. Most of the time I ignore them. They don't want to hear common sense. They just want to express hate so talking to them is useless and a waste of time. I had to go and look to see what was said and my friend did that. She's quiet good at it. I should go and reread her comments. But I try when I must handle them to handle them in a mature manner.

I know this was a little old and I was poking around on deviantart, but that one below reminds me of when this girl in the Yugioh forums said that Yami wasn't gay because she was against puzzleshipping XD They had to keep banning her because she kept making up new accounts. I bet this is the same person XD

Gotta agree TFs aren't gay though. They can't be without gender. And whatever they have that is comparable to gender, well, since the male:female ratio is more 20:1 than 50:50, it's not the same thing.

Read the last sentence. The ratio male:female is, on better days, 20:1. That means there's one female for each 20 males. Heterosexuality is just not gonna work then, or it's going to be easily twenty times more creepy than "teh gay" could ever possibly be.

Having gender has little to do with the possibility to have sex. The connection is obvious, but TFs, as we have seen, appreciate touch. Otherwise, things like an encouraging pat on the back or a hug or a kiss wouldn't be signals understandable to them. They are a social species, so, even if they are not gendered, it is logical to assume they have some way to derive higher forms of pleasure out of physical contact.

Yes, slash is gay porn. Personally, I hate using the words "slash" or "het" when describing TF relations, but for some it's an easier way of defining. The reason Darkenlite has a specific Transformer Slash map also is to serve those people who will be offended by seeing two people of the same gender together, because théy will perceive the characters as gendered. As far as I know Darkenlite, she portrays TFs as indifferent to whether their partner is "male" or "female". Hence, she's not saying they are gay.

Also, there was a little trick behind my question, as Sunstreaker in fact has been defined as gay in one continuity. He was gay in the Dreamwave comics. So much for your argument TFs aren't gay, because he's certainly not the only one. On the other hand, the Binaltech story had him getting "revved up" by a human female, so one could argue he swings both ways.
