Oh, it's not because that. He just always seemed like a punk in Street Fighter 4. Also, he cheats by fighting with a knife when he already has superhuman skills!

Well, to be fair, I can understand the change in attitude. How do you think your attitude might change if you were essentially locked up in jail for beating up bad guys, and had your girlfriend that you risked your life for leave you to study overseas? Plus, he's not the only character with superhuman skills who uses a weapon in the series. He's just not the honorable type, like Ryu, Sagat, etc.. Me personally, I don't mind punk characters if they have a good heart, as one of my all-time favorite anime characters is Kuwabara Kazuma, from YYH, and Sagara Sanosuke from RK.

Kuwabara didn't cheat in street fights... and he was plenty honorable! He was just... a different honorable... and slightly ineffective...
And I don't like many of the other characters who cheat either. I make one exception for Ibuki's kunai because I have a soft spot for ninjas.
