Damn, I made the canvas too small! D:< Sighh... Oh well.. At least next time, I'll make the canvas bigger. (=w= ) I hope I'll remember...But anyway! This is my first deviation ever since I got back from camp and ever since I got my very first PM!
And now, Imma gonna make more~ Teehee~ 
Yes, I've been planning to make Maximum Ride fan art for ages! And this is my first! So here is my first chibi fan art! I'm gonna draw the other flock members too~ 
If you guys don't know what Maximum Ride is. Its a book written by renowned author James Patterson (It's also one of the few book series that I follow and read). Maximum Ride is about 6 not so extra ordinary human kids. They have wings. Well, to be more specific, avian DNA had been grafted into their genes ever since they were still in the wombs of their own mothers. Also, this book is going to be turned into a movie (at least from what I've heard) and it has also been manga-nized!
So far there are 3 manga volumes for maximum ride~ Okay! That's the best explanation I can give you guys. (-_- ) If you want more, google it or something.

Manga version of Maximum Ride (where I took in some reference, especially on the second volume) was drawn and illustrated by Narae Lee.

First things first, the way you drew the picture is very nice, the thickness of the lines vary, and make it seem more 'realistic' (in the art of manga, anyway). The proportion is almost perfect, and when it is needed, the symmetry is incredibly accurate. The colours are blended well, and the shading is in the correct places, making the picture seem 3D. Apart from the fact that one eye is slightly larger than the other, I'd say that the picture is great! Awesome job, can't wait to see more (:

Oh oh, the books are called: "MAXIMUM RIDE" and "HUNGER GAMES"
They are a series already. Maximum Ride have 7 books and 3 mangas/graphic novels already. Hunger Games on the other hand is 3 books all in all and will still be made into a Graphic Novel in the future.
You don't have to read it if you don't want to~ I'm just saying that those are really good books!
