I like seagulls a lot. I've always hated it how some people throw rocks at them. It makes me sad and angry.
Just because you don't happen to like them does not give you the right to hurt them.

I remember when I was a kid, I was at the seashore with other kids and they threw rock at seagulls. It made me sad and angry - but also very surprised. I never had thought that someone would hurt someone or something purposely.
"Hey stop it!" I said. "Why are you doing that anyway?"
"Because... Because they're seagulls. Just stupid seagulls."
That's what they said. But that's not right - after all, they're living creatures. You don't have to hurt them even if you think they're stupid. ó.ò
