Please read the story below and make sure to change settings at lower right to HD 720p and go to full screen.

Music by Andrew Seistrup - Footsteps, from the album Chapter One (Please check out Andrews’s music here: freemusicarchive.org/music/And…). The license is at the end of this write up.

Escape from the Queen of Hearts opens with the Cheshire cat, who doesn’t appear as a cat but rather as the titles to the animation. Look fast because they disappear quickly into the background just like the mysterious feline. Alice has been imprisoned in a maze of fractal roses by the evil Queen of Hearts. As she tries to escape she runs down a pathway only to find that the exit is closed off with bars made up of rose stems. She turns and runs the other way but the potion she drank earlier makes the maze look as though it’s spinning. If you look closely you will see four flamingo croquet mallets framing the opening in the maze. As she nears her other escape route two bars materialize. Then two more bars that are followed by a very large column suddenly appear. She follows her instincts and continues towards the exit which she finds is flanked by four robust guards. She manages to slide around the back of one of the guards and then she is able to slip out a small tunnelway on the side. The rose maze melts away and Alice finds her way back home.

No changes have been made to the music in any way. I want to thank Andrew Seistrup for this amazing piece that made this fractal animation a lot more exciting than it would have been alone. Without the building tension of the music and the beautiful voices accompanying it this animation would have just been a bunch of spinning fractals.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. I have 4 others from before you can see. The next one will be done about two months for the next one to be done. Unfortunately it wil have unwanted speckles in it but I've found it's that particular fractal that always has speckles. I'll say there are fairies flitting  around!

Okay, I can't wait to see it. It's very inspiring to see a girl that makes 3D things. I haven't found many 3D artists that are girls on DA so when I saw you making these amazing animations and fractals, it really inspires and makes me happy .

You should try it. It's not that hard. If you ever decide you want to try I'd be happy to help. When I first started making fractals I knew nothing about them. I was asking every fractal artist I could find how they did them. Everybody was so willing to help. I finally got to where people were asking me how to do them. I now want to help whoever is interested.

Really? That would be great . I need to finish some other things first but as soon as I start it, I'll ask you for help. I didn't even know what fractals were until I followed a devaint who made them and was featured in a journal about fractal artists. Now every time I click on a deviant's fractal work and Deviant Art shows some others, I end up following a few of people xD.

Wow, that's amazing. You gotta love how great this community is .

Thank you so much for the information and help .

Indeed footsteps adds drama to your beautiful fractal animation.
I read below that you asked if there was anything that needed more work or attention.
For me both works, music and visual are great and go great together.
If i would give a suggestion i would say match the speed and timing of the animation to the music. (start the long travel down when the piano riff/loop starts and stop it when the music go's big, maybe even speed it up then just a speed stab...)

Hope you find my feedback usefull. Show us more of these beautiful works.
(just liked it on youtube  )

Thank you so very much. I had the whole fractal animation already rendered when I go to FMA and try and find the music to go with it. It's amazing to even find a piece that goes to the video at all. I thoroughly agree, I with the louder part at started after the turn  I can go back later and add more frames to render in between or take them and see if I can get it to match up there. I'll work on it. Check out my 4 earlier pieces because I like your critique. Sincere thanks.

Will check the others out later this week. Keep those beautiful fractals comming.

Thank you very much! I'm trying. I wish they would render a lot faster because I have 4 lined up with the music already to go but the 4th one probably won't even be done for half a year. It's so hard to wait. I make each animation in a really small size so I see it fast and know if it will work and set up the music but I probably won't see it finished for months! Hopefully in the future computers will work much faster. I shouldn't complain. I remember when I had dial up to even get on the computer.

Any suggestion? It really is just done for my own fun. I know it's extremely simple.
