This animation started from a single piece I did for my Deviantart gallery called Octoblocks, which can be seen here:  darkestnightmare.deviantart.co ... . It is a tweak of a fractal from Trenton Shuck, and his original piece called Structure on Mars can be seen here:  darkestnightmare.deviantart.co ... . Please visit his gallery and see his other amazing pieces here:  trenton-shuck.deviantart.com/g .....

This is a two part animation set and part one has two versions - to an instrumental track and to the same music with vocals. I chose the song Swan’s Melody by the musician Ryan E. Weber going by the acronym REW. It has a beautiful, mysterious sound to it and I knew right away it was the song for this animation. I was quite shocked though after putting the two together that they fit like they had been made together. I then found out there was a version of the song with Ryan singing (spectacular voice) so I put the animation together with this version of the song too. Please look Ryan up here and listen to more of his wonderful music:  rew-music.bandcamp.com/album/ .... The song is on the album titled Olive Skinned Sirens, Sing Swan Songs. In the animation credits I was unable to put the comma after Sirens because the type font I used didn’t have one. Thank you very much Ryan, for the OK to go ahead to use your song. I so greatly appreciate it. After you’ve watched both versions of this animation, please go ahead to Octoblocks Enter Warp Speed. The two Octoblocks animations are meant to be seen in a row. I created the color gradient just for this animation and moved it’s positioning with each keyframe so that the colors move throughout the whole fractal. It is made up of equal width strips of four different color saturation's of blue, teal and purple, although it is hard to see all four shades of one of the colors at the same time. It looks like there is pink involved and there actually is but it’s just the lightest saturation of the purple stripes.
