Description Okay, so, a few notes on this. This is barely a prototype, the etching on it is mostly just placeholder designs I had used on my dicetray, just to see how it looked and if it worked. I went with purple cause it was one of the cheapest colors I had. So don't get too hung up over those details.

Those notes aside, I had designed the body of this guy as a fan piece for a buddy who had ran a kickstarter for laser cut wooden dice towers, but had never gotten around to it. I forget what the trigger was to suddenly make this, but here we are, and man am I going to run with this idea, possibly turning to more tabletop gaming accessories and such. All attempts I made to light this guy failed, however I do think I may have figured it out, though it likely won't be with an etched version. The edges of the glass are actually cut to look like laser cut wood in how they fit together like puzzle pieces, it's not decorative foiling, however the next will have standard beveled edges. The noise is pretty delightful, and this guy is heavy! 1lb, 10.2z. Downside is it's limited to plastic dice, no heavy metal, but that's not a big deal to most. I might end up felting the bottom of the tray, or putting some embossed leather or something to mute the sound just a little, but that will depend on testing.

I believe this is an good idea. Keeps the dice in a visible location, so no players can accuse another other cheated.

That's awesome! Was the etching done with a machine/sand blasted? Or like etch paste? I've always wanted Try it. Just haven't gotten around to it yet lol

Sandblasted for sure. I've never had decent results with the pastes with stained glass. Plus, with sandblasting, you can get a nice deep etch,
