Description
An ode to some of my favourite sounds...Funny story about that little bird in the corner though - the last thing I wanted to do was to paint yet another keskidee. But to be fair I said I'd paint the first bird I see outside... and in a tree full of ripe plums only one bird stood there in the branches, craning its neck to see me (no joke). Just my luck, it's a keskidee!
So there it is... singing its heart out in my painting. Quite frankly, it looks like it's supposed to be there ^_^.

i actually had to Google that bird. strange how you seem to run into them all the time, yet i haven't seen or heard of them in my entire life
i like your drawing. it reminds me of Amy Brown's fairy illustrations, but yours seems to be more full of life and detail, especially when it comes to the vegetation
oh, as for the watermark, it's not that visible. thought you might be interested in a second opinion

This bird is pretty popular here because of the sound it makes. The name is actually from the french for 'What did it say?'

And yeah, we all know about those watermarks. One day when I've got enough time I want to replace the images here with my own watermark. Hopefully that day comes before I have to replace like 100 images! >_<
