I've promised to write something about this one

so basically it was made to practice my skills with tablet, I'm still not quite comfortable with it. Gimp turned out to be usable although I still have some problems with this program, but at the beginning nothing nothing was coming of it. Lineart is done traditionally 'cos it takes more time for me to do it digitally. Decided to practice chibies. Those commanders are hard to chibitize. As reference I used screenshots from anime, and I wasn't very creative to how position them.

So who are those... umm... men... um... creatures... beings I've drawn here.
Marco the Phoenix ("I've never seen such a bird" as Admiral Kizaru has commented) is 1'st Division commander
Namur (A shark... SHARK... actually fishman) 8'th div. commander (the way I've drawn it 8 looks bit like 3)
Haruta (unconfirmed gender) 12'th div. commander
Blamenco (the guy who takes out HUGE hammer from smal pocket thingies on his neck, for some reason he is not very popular among fans) 6'th div. commander
Curiel (another one rarely seen) 10'th div. commander
Despite how different they look like, they are part of the same crew of Whitebeard Pirates. As they are commanders (taichou) in major group and One Piece is shonen manga they are all very strong, unfortunately we haven't seen to much of them (As we've only seen them in grand battle with several tens of characters, not counting fodder, it was virtually a brawl, no way we could see more of individual fighting styles. Credits to Oda to actually draw like battle and not series of duels). Any way there are 16 divisions.
