There's an anecdote about Winslow Homer's superb painting, 'The Gulf Stream,' a print of which I begged my mother to buy me, and she refused. Here's the picture:

When someone chided him about all the horrors the picture depicted, Homer responded, 'That's the view from the ship that rescued him!' I always thought the fellow on the boat was one determined survivor.

In my dream I had no idea if she lived or executed because the dream shifted to another scene. Heheh. Winslow Homer is incredible!
