I'm actually quite surprised. I personally can't compare the two because for me they're so vastly different in terms of color, style, and skill. XD I guess I really have improved since last year. X3

Don't worry, you don't sound stupid. c; These two pictures are actually the canine 'sona of one of my irl friends. The first one was drawn as just a random gift for her, and the second one was my birthday present to her this year.

There are quite a few wolf/canine artists here on dA. We do sometimes draw fanart, but most of the time it's personal characters or other people's characters.
