i think its cool, good job!!... maybe scanning it bigger woud help, or croping it so the focus stays on the eye not all the white around it.....

i drew it really small and shded just around it and thought it would look stupid if i had a bigger picture w/ a little eye in the middle and shded a lil aroound it. so i just cut the fucker out.
