You think im superior?
You think the world revolves around me?
Well I think it revolves around you.
You're perfect,
everything has to be the way you want it.
No other way.
You think your life sucks?
You think you have it bad?
You think your life is worse than mine?
You think I can't relate?
I've been through it all.
NEWS FLASH!
I know more about problems than you.
You only know some stuff.
Yet you assume that’s all that has happened to me.
My dad committed suicide.
That’s all you know.
Yet you assume that’s the only thing I have experienced.
Yeah my dad killed himself.
I grew up watching my dad repeatedly beat the shit out of my mom.
I grew up with an alcoholic,
a drug addict,
a screamer,
a dreamer.
My Dad.
Court,
testifying,
jail,
visiting hours,
suicide.
You think you know but you have no idea.
This is a list of things I’ve gone through,
I know about it.
All of it.
You think I can't relate to anything.
Now try telling me I can't relate.
I can.
I hate it.
Day after day I had to put up with the beatings,
the yelling,
the abuse.
Physically and emotionally.
Yet I delt with it.
Now it’s me doing the yelling,
its me who is the alcoholic,
its me who cuts herself,
its me who blames herself for his death,
its me who wants to die.
Now that you know how much I’ve gone through,
and how much I go through daily.
Who is it that has it worse?
Who has the world revolving around them?
Not me...
