Sacrifices had to made with the focus if i made the keep more in focus the give would of been out of focus completely xD

Hello there. I just love this photo. You've captured the essential of the "Bottled message" motif, the one that captured the mind of artists over so many centuries. The soft focus is perfect for this shot, as is the small bottle. The colors complete this shot.
The focus on both "keep" and "give" is great, as it gives yet another contrast.
I, too, condemn the crop. You could have chosen something better. This crop is ok, but it would have been perfect if the whole bottle was present. Disregarding that, though, it's a great photo! Congrats!

I agree with the crop ... but it wasn't a crop it was the actual photo... i never crop my photos
But because i did it in like 2 mins i didn't really get a chance to adjust that

I love the idea behind the photo, very lovely and really made me stop and think. Beautifully executed. The focus is purely on the bottle and the message it contains within. I love how you even manage to capture the roughness of the ink on the paper. It's especially noticeable on "give" and really gives this photo charm. The only detracting part of the photo is the crop. I think that if you had shown more of the top of the bottle or less of the background on the bottom, it would make the focus tighter. Still overall this is an excellent piece. We get them in many shapes and sizes at a store here called hobby lobby. They also include charms sold separately like a tiny pocket watch and a fairy.
Haha, I'm in the same boat, I have no props but hundreds of ideas.
I go to thrift shops or yard/garage sales sometimes and find some pretty nifty stuff though.

Ahhh I couldn't agree with you more ! Especially about the neck being focused better... The problem is ... I Took this with a macro filter so it's VERY VERY limited . :\ Unlike Macro Lenses (which cost Β£200+) the macro filters have a limited focus range
