If it's more dynamic poses you're looking for, maybe try something with the character jumping or running for starters. There's also plenty of pose reference artists out there, this one being an example: senshistock.deviantart.com
She's got a whole lot of action filled poses you can reference, with credit if you use a specific one, of course. There's probably even some stuff in your favorites that you could try out!

By looking at the width between the shoulders and hips (it's not that obvious compared to a more masculine build), shoulders are slightly wider than the hips. In addition to that, the very flat chest <_>, so most would probably think it's male. Other than that, he looks very slim and more "petite" compared to the average ideal male, hence the sex might not be that obvious <_>
