Cool. I did something like this, modify the set and used different and spare parts to make one I called a Maverick class fighter.

Oh yeah, I like that. Looks like it's mostly made from the Jedi Striker class fighter. Very nice.

Yeah, I see what you mean. This is.. just a thought, but I personally think it might look a little more bird of prey-like, if the trailing pieces were turned so the longer flat edge was on the outside. Like,

Instead of,

If you know what I mean..
Just a thought though. If you like it the way it is, it's still cool.

I tried it out and it doesn't give the same streamlined effect that i was going for, but I can see where you were coming from
