Yet another Knights of the Old Republic drawing idea that sprang into my head. Revan and Ryan have some sort of conspiracy against me, I know it... -_-;

Anyway, this is an imagined scene from KotOR pre-history, depicting Malak and Revan on Malachor V shortly after the Mandalorian Wars. At this point Revan seems to have concocted her grand scheme to bring the Republic down, and she's explaining it to Malak. It obviously involves the ancient Sith Trayus Academy, or they wouldn't be standing on the cliff that overlooks it. (Just so we're clear, I'm not entirely sure what Revan's plans involved, but clearly she at least had some strategy worked into it. Malak didn't seem to care after he tried to kill her. I've got a lot of the idea worked out from paying close attention to Kreia in KotORII, but I still don't know what the entire idea was. Guess I'll have to wait for that rumoured KotORIII )

Had this idea dropped on my head while fighting my way through Storm Beasts on Malachor V in KotORII: Sith Lords. Or, rather, when I came to this spot in the game. Thought it would make a dramatic scene for Revan and Malak. The original idea was actually supposed to be post-Revan's redemption (come on, the Light Side ending was the only one that worked with the Canon Star Wars universe! .....That and I have issues with Darksiding in the KotOR Games), when she leaves Carth behind and goes to Malachor V to try and stop the Sith once and for all. Then I decided to make it just after the Mandalorian Wars.

Funny thing is, I wound up flopping my usual process and doing the background first. Maybe because I had to extensively edit a screenshot I took to GET the background. Anyway, once said screenshot was edited, pasted into a new .psd file and drew lineart for Revan and Malak right on top of it, then painted it in. I believe I started around 9:00PM-ish after quitting KotORII. Finished at precisely 1:15AM (and I'm STILL not tired ). Grand total of 5 layers, including text and background.
