Ah, that's the unique challenge of a head-and-shoulders portrait - everything about the character has to be conveyed in the eyes! I'm not always sucsessful, but I like to think I cracked it here!

Oh, absolutely - not the sort of chap one might want in one's club, of course, after his trying to murder that detective and all that (shameful buisness, best not spoken of) but if you ask me his Heavy Game of the Western Himalayas is still the definitive text for any serious India-bound sportsman!
