Design was my own. There was no concept art for this piece. Just modelingΒ from the scratch.

I've been examining the details in all three views of this grizzly guy. Yet another one of your astonishing creations.
Very great modeling and texturing. Nice touch with the extra gasoline can and those sweet looking hydraulics

the main gun looks really plain and boring compared to the rest of the suit

Why are there so many awesome visions for military tech and the military doesn't seem to work on them?

Vision does not mean viability and feasibility. This one has so many weakpoints ...

well, this image made we want to comment on what you said, its the kind of thing that goes perfect for fiction, and actual image is very nicely designed and credible. it would work for transport, and maybe carrying light defensive weapons, but in real combat field it would be useless against normal thanks or heavy weapons for many reasons. a tank is constructed compact like a brick, and very stable, and this thing would shake like crazy when moving, or if so, would need a very complex stability sistem and a turret separated from the body, and with exposed joints like this, any granade or explosive would make it loss stability during a long period of time. and no matter how heavy it is, a rpg or misile to the groung, most likely would either break the ground below it, or the leg itself, making it useless instantly, and moreover, it would be hard actualy to build a joint that moves fast and strong enough to be faster than a tank. something like thins would work in very irregular terrain. which a tank would not pass.
