The Birth of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...

At the end of the 19th Century, Britain was soon to be invaded my an alien army known as the Daleks. However, the people of Earth were unaware of this, and were definitely not ready for what was going to happen. Fortunately for the Humans, they had a protector that went by the name of the Doctor. The Doctor, however, did not know about the amazing strengths the people of Earth could have, and was met by an alien from Mars who had the ability to Shape-Shift - J'Onn J'Onzz. Telling J'Onn about Earth's fate, he decided to put a team together to stop Earth's destruction like what happened to Mars, not knowing that it was the Daleks that had attacked Mars and killed his people.

Rounding up a team of 6 Super-Powered men, including himself and the Doctor, they fought off the Daleks and eventually won. At the end of it, they decided to stick together, calling themselves the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as that was what they were. The Doctor was willing to stay with the team for a year, but left to carry on his Time Lord duties, but the team still carried on without him.
