Grievous is incredibly skilled, having been able to face multiple Jedi Masters at once. Both are intimidating cyborgs. Vader might have trouble against four lightsabers. But I'd have to give the battle to Vader. Grievous' organs are simply too easy of target for Vader. Though I still think it would be close.

Young Grievous would have a good fight against Vader, but Vader can still defeat any version of the general.

Grievous has four lightsabers and and advanced cyborg body, and Vader is slower in his suit, which is more for life support than combat. But, Obi-Wan beat him with just one lightsaber and Vader still has great skill with the Force. I'd say that Grievous has a chance of winning if they duel with lightsabers, but overall Vader would win because with the Force he can throw objects (including Grievous) around, and he can sense some of Grievous thoughts.

You're under estimating Vaders skill with the sabre. While he's not fast, his pure skill allows him to fight rooms of enemies ranging from droids to Jedi.

I go with Vader, because he's a Sith Lord, while Grievous is just a robot, Vader has the advantage of the Force.
