I am trying to use this with RPG Maker VX Ace... and when I try to use the sprite for a character, it doesn't have a transparent background and it doesn't select it correctly. Is it possible to fix that so it does work?

When you import a sprite the rpg maker ask what is transparent, select in that moment with your mouse left and right click the green background, also dont forget to rename the sprite with $,
Like this: $bear with armor.
When is a single sprite like this one, always put $ in the name.
