Description
I had this idea that there was a terrible, sudden storm and a pregnant Mermaid was caught in it with her child. Whilst protecting her little one, she was thrown against the reef and bumped her head. Battered and exhausted, she had no other choice but to swim to shore, where her children (born and unborn) would be safer from the wild ocean.It's actually a really big picture.. =S Weird how DeviantArt makes it so small.

Ah, not completely spontaneous. I wanted to draw a mermaid, so when I started, the idea wrote itself into my head. I think it's my overactive imagination. =S
